English
What you enter into the calculators
Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser. The values, design conditions and presets you enter are never sent to a server, with the exception of calculation sheet (PDF) output described below. Settings and presets are stored in your browser's localStorage and are removed when you clear your browsing data.
Calculation sheet (PDF) output
On the web version only, calculation sheets (A4 PDFs, available to subscribers) are laid out on this site’s server (Cloudflare Workers). The contents of the sheet are sent there, used to build the document, and not stored. The desktop version builds the document entirely on your own machine.
We also record, per account, the time (to the minute) and number of sheets produced. This is used to detect automated bulk extraction; records older than 30 days are deleted. We do not record your IP address or the contents of the sheets.
What you send through the contact form
What you send through the contact form (type, subject, message, the email address you enter, your environment and your IP address) is stored on the operator's server and delivered to the operator by email. It is used only to reply to you and to investigate the problem, for nothing else, and it is not passed to third parties. Your environment (edition, browser, language) is not attached if you clear the checkbox before sending.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic. It does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifying information.
The visit counter shown at the bottom left of the page (today, all-time and the busiest single day) stores nothing but a daily total on this site's server (Cloudflare). No IP addresses or other identifying information are kept. The record used to avoid counting the same visitor twice on the same day stays in your browser's localStorage only. The monthly and yearly figures shown when you click the counter are simply those daily totals grouped together.
Advertising
This site may use a third-party advertising service (Google AdSense). Advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your interests. See Google's advertising policies for details and for how to disable cookies. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings.
Disclaimer
Results from this site are intended to support design work and are provided without any warranty as to their accuracy or completeness. For actual design and construction, always check the applicable standards and the manufacturer's technical documentation, and have a qualified engineer make the final decision. The operator accepts no liability for any loss arising from use of this site.
The operator may change, add or remove formulas, data tables, default values and the calculator pages themselves without prior notice, to follow revised standards, correct errors or improve the tools. After such a change the same input may give a different result than before, so re-run the calculation on the current page and check the result before submitting it.
